AI Identity Configuration
Configure how your AI assistant introduces itself to customers. This creates a personalized experience aligned with your brand.
Accessing AI Identity Settings
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click the Account Settings tab (admin only)
- Find the AI Identity Configuration card
Current Status Overview
At the top of the card, you'll see your current settings:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Company Name | Your business name used by AI |
| Support Email | Contact email mentioned in responses |
| Assistant Name | What the AI calls itself |
Fields showing "Not set" need configuration.
Configuring AI Identity
Company Name
- Field: Company Name
- Example: AuroraCloud
- Usage: The AI uses this when introducing your company or referencing your business
Support Email
- Field: Support Email
- Example: support@yourcompany.com
- Usage: AI includes this email when customers need to contact support directly
AI Assistant Name
- Field: AI Assistant Name
- Example: Aurora
- Usage: The name your AI uses when introducing itself
Saving Changes
- Fill in or update any fields
- Click Save Identity Settings
- Wait for the success toast: "AI identity updated successfully"
How AI Uses These Settings
When configured, the AI might respond:
"Hi! I'm Aurora, your assistant from AuroraCloud. How can I help you today?"
Or when escalating:
"I'll connect you with our team. You can also reach us at support@yourcompany.com."
Best Practices
- Use a friendly assistant name: Choose something approachable (Aurora, Alex, Sam)
- Keep company name consistent: Match your official branding
- Use a monitored support email: Ensure someone checks the email regularly
